Bloom is a full-service workplace design consultancy representing BrandActive on their search for their next Recruitment Manager to join their team. As Talent Advisors, we will be the liaison between BrandActive and yourself during this recruitment process. We do not use fancy tech to search through resumes at Bloom; every resume is reviewed by a human to ensure that we attain a consistent and equitable interview process. Hi! I’m Stephen. I’ve been with BrandActive for about 4 years and in that time have had the pleasure of supporting the design, implementation and operations of the firm’s recruitment function. My role at BrandActive began at the intern-level and blossomed into an exciting leadership role for our People and Org. Effectiveness department. The Opportunity

As BrandActive continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Recruitment Manager to join our team.

As a member of our best-in-class People and Culture team, you will take a lead role in all things recruitment including managing the candidate experience from start to finish, partnering with Marketing on employer brand and ensuring BrandActive’s commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is ingrained in each touchpoint of the overall experience.

What You Will be Doing

  • Ensuring the candidate experience reflects BrandActive’s culture, providing a high-quality candidate experience and building trusting relationships with candidates.
  • Owning BrandActive’s full-cycle recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, defining sourcing strategies, candidate communication, and conducting prescreens to offers.
  • Documenting process changes, creating case study materials and ensuring all stakeholders know their role in the recruitment process.
  • Developing and maintaining an inclusive recruitment experience in partnership with BrandActive’s EDI Steering Committee by identifying opportunities to integrate EDI best practices into the recruitment process.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to design the recruitment strategy for new roles and support the selection processes.
  • Ensuring technology is optimized in the recruitment process (e.g. automation opportunities) in partnership with the Coordinator, People and Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Managing recruitment administration, including background checks, interview scheduling and job postings; ensure the administration is complete before start dates.
  • Partnering with the employer brand team (Marketing, People and OE and EDI) on BrandActive’s employer brand program, which may include providing input into the overall strategy, specific posts or creating content.
  • Supporting the development and execution of the People and Culture strategy, special projects and operations as required to help the growth of the business.

What you bring to the table

  • You demonstrate commitment to life-long learning; post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate preferred, but not necessary.
  • You have a strong background and relevant experience that includes direct sourcing and managing end-to-end recruitment.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are able to adapt to different communication styles.
  • You are a relationship-focused professional who keeps trust and authenticity at the core of the candidate experience.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capability, with the ability to influence and negotiate when needed.
  • You have demonstrated initiative and an ability to find creative solutions.
  • You are client-service and user experience oriented.
  • You are able to manage multiple and fluctuating priorities.
  • You have strong attention to detail, business acumen and organization skills.
  • You are solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • You have a high level of experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
  • You have excellent computer skills including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar software(s).
  • You are familiar with Management Consulting industry and Social Media Marketing. (Bonus!)

BrandActive offers a competitive compensation package including a comprehensive benefits plan. Salary commensurate with experience and education.

Annual Salary ranges from $75,000 to $130,000 CAD

Note: We offer a wide range in order to cover a variety of different levels of experience and seniority, salary will be reflective of both.
